FolderForge has one edition. There is no Pro tier, no folder cap, no locked features, and no upsell notices in your admin. It's GPLv2, like WordPress.
FolderForge doesn't bill for AI. It routes requests through the WordPress AI Client to whichever provider plugin you installed — Anthropic, OpenAI or Google — and you pay that provider directly on your own account. AI is off by default, so with no provider installed the cost is zero.
Folder plugins with a 10-folder cap are the reason media libraries stay messy. Approid Tech builds FolderForge as our reference plugin and uses it on client sites; giving it away in full is simpler than maintaining two editions.
Community support is free on the WordPress.org forum. Agencies that need a guaranteed response time can email support@approidtech.com for a support agreement — the plugin itself stays free.
GPLv2 or later. Use it, modify it, redistribute it, ship it in client projects.
